Our Client is in the Property And Casualty Insurance business.Position Overview/Summary:The Staff Internal Auditor will be required to apply Audit practices and techniques in the performance of:Operational and financial Audits.Testing of internal controls in line with internally-developed Audit programs, required for compliance with NAIC and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.Additionally, travel is required (approximately 20 to 25% annually) to both U.S. and international locations.Duties and Responsibilities:The Staff Internal Auditor will assist in:The preparation, compilation, summarization and review of detailed work papers to support conclusions and recommendations made in Audit reports.Execution of tasks and projects described in the annual internal Audit plan.Development and maintenance of Internal Audit Policies and Procedures.Identification and documentation of report findings and recommendations.Conducting special investigations and/or projects as requested by Senior Management.The Staff Internal Auditor will also assist external Auditors in the performance of interim and year-end Audits deemed within the scope of the annual internal Audit plan.This is a Direct Hire position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Vienna, VA.
